2013 Speakers
| One of the highlights of the week is hearing and getting to know our featured speaker. With the ranch capacity at 55 guests, the setting for the morning study and evening firesides are very informal and cozy. The speaker and his family hike the mountains, play golf, ride horses, fish for trout, laugh along with everyone, participate in the events and roast marshmallows with all the guests. We have been blessed to have nationally known authors, speakers, evangelists, and pastors who love this type of setting. Listed below is the line up for the summer. Please call if you have any questions. Believe me, if they are coming to speak they are the best of the best. Each have their own style, but all of them are fabulous. | |||

Week 2 June 9-15 |
Gary Stroop |
|
I have always loved film, theatre, music, art, and love that I get to use them as tools to express God's love for His children. I’m crazy blessed that my life experience, training, and passion have allowed me to lead a gifted group of technical directors and artists at Watermark. My greatest joy is knowing that my wife and I share our life together. We have two married sons, (the best daughter in-laws ever) and two grandkids so far. We love being outdoors, hanging out with friends, family and two dogs. I marvel that God would allow a broken rebel like me to serve Him, and even more that He would restore joy and life where there should be death. |

Melissa Shaver | ![]() |
Melissa Shaver, Director of Walking in Grace Ministries, began the ministry in 2003 through the testimony of what God was doing in her life. Through making the decision to give Jesus Christ full authority of her life 15 years prior, she had to learn how to have a personal relationship with her Lord through Bible study and prayer. A passion developed in her to teach and encourage other women to strive for this life-changing relationship. “I am who I am literally because of God's grace in my life. He absolutely knew the plans He had for me before I was born, and He has protected me through many a circumstance for me to be where I am today. God truly has stubborn love for every one of us and will not let go. I am living proof of that.” -Melissa Shaver Melissa lives in McKinney with her husband of 17 years and 3 beautiful children. |
