The kitchen hand is typically staffed by an individual who enjoys cooking but doesn’t have any formal training. The KH does food prep: slicing, dicing, making sandwiches, prepping salads, and whatever else the chef asks them to do. The KH also keeps the kitchen clean and organized.
We have one kitchen hand each summer. This person needs to have some experience cooking, have a servant’s heart, be willing to learn, and to do whatever the chef asks them to do. This position works inside almost all day with a small number of people.
As with all of our staff, an active and mature faith in Jesus Christ is the most important ingredient for a successful staff member. This is a seasonal position only.
