Bruce Deel is the Executive Director of City of Refuge in one of the worst areas in the City of Atlanta. When he was sent to a church in the area his assignment was to shut the doors of the struggling church. What he found were people with a desire for God and out of this desire the amazing ministry of City of Refuge was birthed. To learn more about this ministry click here.

I grew up in the Texas Panhandle and spent most of my summers in Monterrey, Mexico. I have been married to Susan for 19 years, and we met at Baylor University where I studied international business and marketing. We have two sons, Ethan and Joshua. I am a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary where I studied pastoral leadership and discipleship. My favorite part of pastoral ministry is teaching God’s Word to God’s people to move them forward to a Christ-centered life. I love martial arts movies, football, campfires, cherries, and cheese. I can talk faster than you.
Mac Powell grew up in Clanton, Alabama. His love affair with music began at an early age as both of his parents would sing and play guitar around the house. Mac soon began to sing in the little bitty Baptist church by day, and listen to his dad’s record collection by night.
When Mac was a sophomore in high school, he moved to Atlanta, Ga where his passion for music and faith found an outlet in the band Third Day. The band has traveled the world and earned 4 Grammy awards while selling millions of albums and building a devoted fan base. Third Day has helped transform Christian music, and Third Day was honored by being entered into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame in 2009.
Mac and wife, Aimee and their children have been at Wind River Ranch for four years and we are very glad to include him as a guest speaker again this year!

I have always loved film, theatre, music, art, and love that I get to use them as tools to express God’s love for His children. I’m crazy blessed that my life experience, training, and passion have allowed me to lead a gifted group of technical directors and artists at Watermark. My greatest joy is knowing that my wife and I share our life together. We have two married sons, (the best daughter in-laws ever) and two grandkids so far. We love being outdoors, hanging out with friends, family and two dogs. I marvel that God would allow a broken rebel like me to serve Him, and even more that He would restore joy and life where there should be death.
