Wranglers are individuals who have extensive experience with and love for horses. They need to be confident in their riding ability, be able and willing to teach lessons, lead rides, correct the guests when needed, and be good decision makers. Wranglers work long, hard days; spendinGABmoEPs39xsg much of their time saddling horses, scooping poop, fixing fences, mending tack, and other chores in addition to leading rides.
We typically hire 8 wranglers. Wranglers need to love people in addition to horses, be hard workers, and look good in a hat (just kidding… but seriously). Our wranglers interact with guests for most of the day, so they need to be patient, friendly, and comfortable having conversations with people they don’t know.
As with all of our staff, an active and mature faith in Jesus Christ is the most important ingredient for a successful staff member. This is a seasonal position only.
