Wind River Ranch is a place you will never forget. It is a place that will stay in your memory for years to come. So get excited, because we have everything ready for you. Located south of Estes Park, Wind River Ranch sits at 9,200’, so expect chilly nights and warm, comfortable days. That means you will want to include a light outer layer and rain jacket for safe keeping.
Overall, attire at the ranch is casual, which means blue jeans, tee shirts, and boots if you have them. Just come prepared for all the different activities we have to offer, like horseback riding, hiking, fishing, swimming, and more. But don’t worry about your linens and towels because we have that taken care of.
The food is wonderful, so be sure to come hungry. If you have any dietary needs or restrictions, we will make the kitchen aware of any changes. Remember to start drinking lots of water to help with altitude adjustments. If you think you or anyone in your family might be susceptible to high altitude symptoms, you might want to ask your doctor about medications that prevent high altitude mountain sickness.
If you’re not in driving distance of the ranch, the best airport to fly into is DIA, Denver International Airport. From there you will need to either rent a car or take a shuttle to make the hour and a half trip to the ranch.
We want you to be prepared so you can enjoy a beautiful week in the mountains. For more specific info about anything listed above or any questions you may have, please feel free to contact us at 970-586-4212 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
